The Election

I just want to say that i cant believe i left my country for the biggest political moment i have ever been alive to witness. not to mention this is like the Olympics of politics and i practically had to sit this one out. okay, im not going to get all upset because im not there, i think we have this one in the bag, but i just want to send a message out to all you idiots who are thinking of not voting or dont think its worth it. For the first time in 30 years North Carolina could vote for a Democratic presidential candidate and we might not continue to be overlooked as a red state with right wing ideologies. North Carolina has changed and we need a president to follow suit. we are a swing state for the first time EVER. this is huge. Your vote counts now more than ever. Of the 2 million North Carolinians that have voted so far, 20% of them registered just this year. These are people who are inspired by Obama's message. These are people who can no longer afford to discard their biggest chance to change the direction of this country. please take part. research for 10 minutes on candidates in your area. Kay Hagan deserves this! Larry Kissell deserves this. We need Obama. Do what you can. Get off your ass and take part. The world will be watching, i know that for sure!
